The South Lamar Chamber of Commerce has been instrumental in beautifying and revitalizing Millport and Kennedy, AL. From hosting events to bring awareness to our local small businesses to offering entertaining events for families, the Chamber is dedicated to serving the members of our community. We want you to feel welcome and to love our small towns as much as we do.

Currently, we host two events: Stallion Street Fair, which takes place every November downtown in Millport, and 3 Creek Fest, which takes place at the Millport Walking Track of Millport's Town Hall. Proceeds from our events help us with our Senior Scholarship awarded to a senior at South Lamar High School along with assisting Halo’s with their 4th of July Firework Show. We are also a supporter of South Lamar Athletics.

At this time, we are working on revitalizing the downtown business areas of Millport and Kennedy, AL. With the help of the Bovay Foundation and Tombigbee RC&D. Plans are in the works to restore building exteriors, put in new lighting, and murals, which will be done by local artists.
