May 7, we hosted more than 35 undergraduate students and faculty from the University of Alabama's Community Affairs for the second time! A panel of local businesses owners, including representatives from DCH - Millport Clinic, Elevation Real Estate Group, South Lamar School. and Tenn Tom Fencing answered inquiries about owning and operating a business in rural Alabama, health care options, education opportunities, housing availability, and other challenges and successes that

Millport Farmer's Market will be closed this 2025 season due to unforeseen circumstances.

Three Creek Fest took place at the Millport Walking Track, across from Millport Town Hall on April 4 and 5. We had 50 vendors offering food, boutique clothing, as well as jewelry and crafts from our local artisans. Kids enjoyed putt-putt golf, inflatable jumpers, and face painting. January 4th, the Chamber hosted its annual New Year's Kick-Off Party at the newly renamed Kennedy Events Center. People from both Millport and Kennedy showed up to enjoy the Kennedy Baptist Church Trio. Special thanks to Tammy's Tangles, West Alabama Bank, and Cole's Collections, who donated food for the event.
